Blue and White Love (featuring S.E.Kennedy Designs) and LiketoKnow. It

So one thing I’ve been obsessed with lately is blue and white. In every aspect of my life, really. Like y’all would die if you saw how much blue and white decor I have collected over the years– chinoiserie vases, bowls, plates, figurines, lamps– all of it. Just boxed up waiting for me to unpack it and set it out around our forever home. Every time I go antiquing, I find a new piece. I’m seriously a seventy-year-old woman trapped in a twenty-six-year-old’s body.

That being said, I was so excited that blue and white is so popular lately. And when I found this pair of porcelain print shorts, I was just smitten. This pair of shorts actually came as part of a two-piece set (which I sized up– I’m generally a small, but I got a medium because I had no idea how/if these would even fit), but the top was small enough to fit a five-year-old girl, so I just threw it away and kept the shorts (nothing like what it looks like in the pics– the top is essentially spandex). The set was so cheap that I didn’t even feel bad about it. I was worried that the shorts would be see-through, but they’re not at all. Score. Side note: the short set was from a sketchy Chinese website that no longer exists, but you can also find these darling shorts here. I can’t make any promises on how long shipping will take because that website also looks pretty sketch…

Then my girl Sarah Beth created the most beautiful chinoiserie-inspired necklace and sent it my way. Seriously stunning! This girl is talented, y’all. Her Etsy shop is filled with one of a kind statement pieces. I’m obsessed. And she’s the sweetest momma! If you haven’t checked out her designs, then you’re missing out. Especially with Mother’s Day coming up… perfect gift idea!

Also, I don’t know if any of y’all keep up with my Instagram, but if you do, you might have noticed that some of the captions on my pictures are a little bit different (they have liketoknow.it at the end). This just means that if you see an outfit or product you like in my photos, you can “like” the post and get the details sent straight to your inbox. It’s a pretty sweet concept! But to take advantage of it, you need to sign up for liketoknow.it.

Here’s how to sign up for liketoknow.it:

  1. Register your email at LikeToKnow.it or download the liketoknow.it app
  2. “Like” photos that mention liketoknow.it
  3. Check your email– the outfit details from your favorite bloggers will be in your inbox, and you can click straight from there to shop the exact products or similar ones that we’ve linked for you!

Being a part of RewardStyle (liketoknow.it) makes me feel like a legit blogger! It’s pretty exclusive, and you have to apply to get into it, so I was pretty pumped when I got my acceptance email (after getting rejected the first time…). If you’re going to monetize your blog, you need to be okay with rejection! It’s totally par for the course, and it happens to all of us from time to time. The key is to not take it personally.

Oh, and for your enjoyment. I’ve included one of the pics Matt got of me after he was making fun of me for my resting bitch face. You’re welcome.
